What is collected and how

The pseudonymous session code is derived from details of your connection, such as your IP address and browser information. It changes every day and is not designed to connect activity across different days. It is pseudonymous rather than anonymous because it is derived from personal data.

Hush Pantry keeps the code, not the IP address or browser information from which it was derived, in its usage records. The code is never stored in your browser. If you proceed to Polar checkout, the link includes the code so Hush Pantry can recognise which purchases started on this storefront.

The storefront does not:

• set cookies
• use local or other browser storage
• create customer accounts
• use advertising trackers
• use cross-site profiling
• sell personal data

The storefront pages use self-hosted fonts and do not load third-party scripts, embedded content, advertising pixels, or font services. Checkout opens Polar on Polar's own domain only after you choose a purchase link.

Why this information is used and the legal basis

PagePeeker SRL relies on legitimate interests for the storefront's first-party processing. The information is used to:

• deliver the storefront
• measure page views and referral channels
• measure which checkout links are used
• understand when a checkout link does not proceed
• connect a same-day storefront visit with a purchase made through Polar

This processing is limited by placing nothing in browser storage, changing the pseudonymous session code every day, keeping no raw IP address or browser information in usage records, and avoiding advertising profiles.

Who else receives information

Cloudflare hosts this site and processes storefront requests and the usage records described above on PagePeeker SRL's behalf. You can read Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Polar provides the off-site checkout and acts as merchant of record and authorised reseller. Polar receives the pseudonymous session code in the checkout link and collects the information needed to complete the transaction on its own domain under Polar's Privacy Policy.

Hush Pantry does not collect or process payment-card details on this storefront. Requests about information connected to a specific Polar order should be directed to Polar.

How long information is kept

Hush Pantry keeps its usage records for 30 days and then deletes them.

The pseudonymous session code changes every day and is never stored in your browser. Polar and Cloudflare apply their own retention practices to information they process under their respective privacy policies.

Your rights

Because PagePeeker SRL is established in Romania, European data-protection rights apply to its processing. Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal data, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also complain to the competent data-protection supervisory authority.

There are no Hush Pantry customer accounts and no identifier is stored in your browser. The storefront does not keep your raw IP address or browser information in its usage records, and the pseudonymous session code changes every day. For most access or deletion requests, PagePeeker SRL therefore has no reliable way to connect a usage record to the person asking. We will explain this if it prevents us from acting on a request.

Requests concerning a specific Polar order should go to Polar, the merchant of record, because Polar controls the transaction record.
